Connecting cords (various colors and lengths):
4 mm plug head on both ends has an axial socket for a further cord.

Coils (various windings) and U-core with pole-pieces:
Coil casings made of plastc, 2 sockets of 4 mm, for easy connection with connecting cords. Laminated U-core, to be used as a core for coils alongwith rectangular pole-pieces. A versatile U-core holder is fixed onto the slide mount, for various experiments onto the optical bench.

 


Current Balance:
Particularly easy to handle and slide the weights along, notched sliding weights positions..

 


Distributor:
The Distributor is used for demonstrative holding of electric plug-in components. Rod diameter is 10 mm, versatile.

 

 


Extension tube:
A versatile extension tube for the extension of support accessories. Hollow 10 mm shaft with stainless steel clamping screw.

       


Glider:
Aluminum profile, anodised black, glides on the Air-track. Pins on its lateral sides to increase the glider's weight by putting slotted weights. Holes on top and edges enable the student to add diaphragms and other inserting elements.

 

 


Helmholtz coil (one pair):
Each of the similar Helmholtz coils is cantilevered off a plastic foot. The sockets of the coil winding are cast into the plastic foot of the coil; and 4 mm sockets are provided so that connecting cords may be used to connect the coils in parallel or series as required. Cantilevering the coils from the base allows the number of turns to be counted (please see Magnetic field of a paired coil in Helmholtz arrangement). These coils are used to create a homogenous magnetic field. Two stainless steel round rods are provided to fix the distance between the coils at 200 mm. These are easily removable so that the distance may be varied, as required.

 


Laser:
A versatile Diode laser, which may be mounted onto a 10 mm round rod and placed with the help of a slide mount for various experiments on the Optical bench. This enables height and distance adjustments. Stainless steel round 10 mm rod is provided alongwith for easy usage.

 


Optical Bench:
Anodised (black) aluminum profile, with scale recessed into a groove, on both sides, with zero markings at one end (as illustrated in the picture) versatile base, with adjustable plastic feet with levelling screws for higher stability.

 


Photo cell (Silicon):
A Silicon Photo cell built into a aluminium housing, with a fixed connection cable (output through two 4.0 mm banana plugs).An attachable slit with an aperture of 0.3 mm. Photocell can be fixed on the stainless steel rod supplied.

 


Right angle clamp:
A versatile support right angle clamp, for secure clamping of square and round rods in cross, T or parellel arrangement. Also, the versatility allows to clamp table tops, Glass plates, and measuring scales. Stainless steel clamping screw for clamping.

 


Rod with hole:
A versatile 10 mm stainless-steel rod with hole, which may be used for various hook-up experiments.

A versatile 10 mm stainless-steel rod with hook, which may be used for various hook-up experiments or to hang up large tensile loads.

 


Round Base:
A versatile support round base, with high stability. Stainless steel clamping screw to hold support rods, square and round. Recess on the under-side, the size of the width of a meter scale, so that the round base may slide across the scale for various experiments.

 


Slide mount (for the optical bench:
Anodised (black) aluminum profile, with 10 mm Holder (option of h = 30 mm or 80 mm) to hold the optical components.Centered marking on the mount to mark the exact position on the Optical bench. Stainless steel screw to clamp the mount onto the Bench. Stainless steel clamping screw to hold round support rods.

Springs (set of various sizes):
Stainless steel springs of various lengths and diameters, with hooks to be used for extension and oscillation experiments.

 


Stop watch (digital):
Stop watch with display of interval time, time and date, alarm, hourly signal. Battery inclusive.

 


Table top:
A versatile table-top with rod, this may be fixed with the help of a right angle clamp to hold the coil and/or various other components for various experiments. Specialized recesses prevent the slipping of components.

 


Tripod Base:
A versatile support tripod base, with adjustable plastic feet with levelling screws and rubber in-soles for higher stability. Stainless steel clamping screw to hold support rods, square and round.

 


Universal clamp:
A versatile clamp with inter-locking, round clamping jaws with cork lining, especially suited for clamping / holding pippettes, thin pipes and rods.

 


Wire loops (for the current balance experiment):
Set of four plates with holder, with etched copper paths. Two 4 mm sockets at the side of each plate holder. Effective lengths of the copper paths are :
